Detailed Kilimanjaro 7 Days Machame Route Itinerary in 2025

> Day 1: Machame Gate to Machame Camp

After breakfast, you will drive to Machame Gate, the starting point of the Machame Route. At the gate, you will meet your guide and the support team and complete the registration process. The trek starts through the lush rainforest, with a gradual ascent that takes around 5-6 hours to reach Machame Camp. Along the way, you will have a chance to see a variety of wildlife, including monkeys, birds, and various plant species.


>Day 2: Machame Camp to Shira Camp

Today's trek will take you through the heathlands and moorlands, offering stunning views of the Shira Plateau and the surrounding landscape.
